More About Preserved Moss

Some label

Is the moss REAL?

Yes, we use 100% real moss and plants in our artwork.

Are the moss and plants alive?

No, the moss is no longer living. It has been preserved to maintain its appearance and texture.

Where does the moss come from?

Our preserved materials are sourced globally, primarily handpicked from East Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Does the moss contain chemicals?

The preserved mosses we use are treated with color enhancers that are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) and typically found in products intended for human use.

How do I maintain the moss artwork?

  • No watering, trimming, or touching needed
  • Gently blow on the moss occasionally to remove dust
  • Keep in a dry place with temperatures between 64-77°F
  • Avoid crushing or compressing
  • Avoid strong indirect sunlight, such as behind glass
  • Maintain humidity levels between 40-80%
  • For indoor use only

What else should I know about maintaining the moss?

If the moss becomes dry or stiff, avoid touching it to prevent damage. This may be due to extreme humidity levels in the room. Check humidity levels promptly, as imbalances can cause health issues. The moss will naturally return to its soft state once humidity normalizes (40-80% indoors).

How long will the products last?

With proper care and suitable conditions, our preserved products can last over 8 years.

Will the plants look exactly like the photos?

Not exactly. Our products are made from real plants, so colors and shapes vary naturally. Each piece is unique. The finished product is often more vibrant and attractive than shown in mock-ups.
